Around the Block follows the story of Dino Chalmers (Christina Ricci, The Adams Family, Bel Ami) – an edgy and charismatic drama teacher. When the opportunity arises for her to work at a rough inner-city school, she is determined to make a difference to the lives of her hardened students.

As Dino presents her class with a possibility of a life without drugs and violence, they must choose between pursuing the life she’s encouraging, or following their families in a cycle of crime.
