In a high-stakes choice between duty and danger, a school principal must put his conscience before country as 200 German refugees are thrust into his care by the invading force as the Nazi’s are placed on the back foot towards the end of World War II in 1945.

As his own people turn against him, he is the only voice for these displaced women and children but even he must come to terms with the fact that his charity, his compassion may put the lives of his own family in harm’s way.
